This school made me realize life in General however there is pros and cons. This school helps with some behavior issues and mental issues. However the academic program really sucks and staff are good but don't set a good example. They have to restrain kids a lot and send some to asylums. we had a issue last year in which a kid has the cops called on him and their were helicopters called and all of north brookfield was involved. This school does encourage violence but you should be happy in the long run
Valley View School left me with what I think was basically PTSD. For years, I had nightmares in which I was back in the valley view dorms. Loud noises and voices caused me to flinch even into my 20s, and any time someone was angry with me I immediately got a fight-or-flight response: I didn't want to be picked up and thrown or restrained. --- Valley View's only saving grace is that it is far less horrible than Elan, but there are still better things out there.

Don't listen to these fools they're just upset that they messed up their lives. Valley view helped me become a lead chef in a nation wide buisness. Your kids will thank you years later for your hard work as amazing parents
I sent my son to vvs to help him with some behavior problems he was never depressed i found out after 2 years of paying 70,000 / a year he was being betten and abused and the staff encouraged that it was like prison the mentallty and how life was there when he came home he was completely messed up he was 20x worse then when he went in he was mentally destroyed he couldnt function in daily life and last week he killed him self and left a suside note blameing vvs i found out this happend multiple times DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE OR HE WILL DIE

I am an ex-student who was sent for 2.5 years (graduating around 2002). After I left, I was fortunate enough to eventually end up in a school that focused on positive reinforcement. Without that, I would be in a very different place than I am today. ---
Valley View School was a great environment with the staff and rules. Except for the students... Students are disrespected, bully, and don't care for the school and other students belongings. My name is Nathan Petricca and i have gotten a lot of items stolen at this school, like my Beat Headphones. Even students tried stealing some snacks because their so desprete to have things that other students have. IF your child has Anxiety, Depression or if he got bullied in previous schools i recommend Mountain Valley. Mountain Valley is for children at the age of 12-18 with Anxiety or depression..Their program was really good and helped me with my Anxiety. Please do the right thing for your child!
Between that fortunate school and VVS, I attended another boarding school with 3 other VVS graduates. All of us but one were expelled or "left" within the first year; the last was a known troublemaker. I don't know what happened to him. ---
